How does pest control work?

Once our technicians arrive on-site, we will assess the premises to identify the source of the pests. There could be several reasons why pests are nesting on your property, and locating that source will help prevent their return in the future.

Once we have located the nest of the pests, or where they are residing, we will begin a risk assessment to ensure that there are no hazards whilst we clean the property. Depending on the type of pest, you may need to vacate the property for a while.

This is because some of the fogging methods and insecticide sprays we use are toxic for humans to inhale. However, by the end of the process, your home will be safe to inhabit again, and all traces of pests will be gone.

Common species of pests in the UK

According to the Woodland Trust, in the UK there are estimated to be 27,000 types of insects. As well as insects, rats and mice are one of the most common pests you will see in the UK.

All of the pests you come into contact with can be frustrating and very difficult to get rid of. It is very common to experience a pest problem in your home, but a professional extermination service can help to eliminate the problem.

What type of pests could you encounter?

You do not want to leave a pest infestation untreated, as this can lead to a few health issues as well as serious damage to your property. You may encounter pests such as:
